K6 is a system incorporating all design criteria relevant to GLORIA ARTEC’s fume cupboards.

The fume cupboard K6 is an enclosure which provides all services within double wall hollows at the two sides of the suction chamber.

This configuration allows arranging the front part both with vertical and horizontal sashes.

Typical is the upper void, a closed but accessible space located over the suction chamber, which allows equipment continuity in the fume cupboard top section by integrating with the building technical spaces.

The base may have different configurations depending on its matching with the floor.

The K6 fume cupboard outer casing, made of epoxy coated Zintec with smooth continuous surfaces, allows easy cleaning, durability and integration with the room wall.




The K6 vertical sash fume cupboard can be designed as:
- "bench type" with the worktop 900mm. above floor,
- "distillation type" with the worktop 500mm. above floor
- "Walk-in type"

The worktops can be made of different materials; they can also be equipped with drip cups and sinks.

The internal chamber can be lined by various materials.

The K6 bench type fume cupboard both with vertical and horizontal sash, is normally mm.1500 wide, mm.1800 wide, mm.2000 wide

The distillation and Walk-in vertical sash fume cupboards are manufactured in the same widths.

In addition twin-module fume cupboard arrangements are made with front central pillar but one chamber inside.



The upper void is equipped with a front panel supported by gas springs that allows easy access to all fluid, electrical and extract services placed in the fume cupboard top section.

It is also possible to install the variable air volume (V.A.V.) control system actuators within the upper void.
In fact K6 fume cupboard has been especially designed to be integrated with the variable air volume systems in large chemistry-pharmaceutical research centres.

It can be even arranged as a constant volume fume cupboard.

The integration with ceiling, floor and side walls by means of proper sealing, the easy decontamination and internal/external cleaning and its versatility, make K6 the fume cupboard that best complies with the most stringent GMP requirements.
