The CWX fume cupboard made by GLORIA ARTEC has been designed with particular care of ergonomy according to the different methods of use and to all safety criteria, for the quick removal of toxic fumes as well as for protecting operators.

It is totally made of fireproof materials.

All internal acid-proof linings can be easily decontaminated.

Large worktops are provided, as well as wide range of fluid, electrical services and complementary fittings.

It has been tested and certified according to the international standards.

Furthermore GLORIA ARTEC designers have taken particular care of easy periodical cleaning and maintenance.

The CWX series covers all models of fume cupboards designed for professional laboratories.




This range includes:
- standard fume cupboards with worktop at 900mm. above floor
- fume cupboards with low worktop placed at 500mm. above floor
- walk-in fume cupboards which can be integrated by removable worktops and trolleys

All fume cupboards models are available in the following sizes:
- 1200mm.
- 1500mm.
- 1800mm.

They can be equipped with knee holes, cabinets with doors, vented cabinets and metal safety cabinets for flammable liquids.

The air extraction is performed through a back baffle integrated with the suction chamber, made of Solid Core plastic laminate supported by stainless steel brackets, easily removable to be decontaminated. The fluid service points are located on the back panel inside the fume cupboard in order to allow the full-width use of the suction chamber.

All controls are placed on the underbench control panel in a protected position so as not to interfere with the airflow.

The electrical system is carried out with IP54/IP65 protection degree in compliance with the most stringent standards.
Cable passage for equipment is provided under the horizontal aerofoil so as not to obstruct the front surface.

A lighting system with standard protection degree IP65 guarantees high lighting levels. The vertical front sash slides smoothly, perfectly counterbalanced and silent, thanks to self-lubricating rails.
